General Practice Training and Consulting Internship / Work Experience Program Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Thank you for your interest in the General Practice Training and Consulting online internship program. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations governing your participation in our program.
1.1 This internship serves as a work experience exercise and is, therefore, unpaid.
1.2 Interns are not expected to perform tasks that involve the actual operations of General Practice. The tasks primarily serve as training exercises but may also be used as health promotion material.
1.3 A certificate is provided at the end of the internship.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Applicants must be at least 17 years old to enrol on the program.
2.2. Eligibility requirements may vary depending on the specific internship opportunity.
3. Application Process

4. Selection Process
4.1. Candidates are self-selected. If you want the internship and we have the capacity – you’re in.
4.2. General Practice Training and Consulting reserves the right to accept or reject any applicant without a reason.
5. Duration and Flexibility
5.1. The duration of the internship program is flexible. Interns are encouraged to complete the internship within 10 weeks.
5.2. The internship is conducted online, and interns are not required to attend the office.
5.3. Interns can work at their own pace within the agreed timeframe.
5.4. In order to complete the internship, the interns must complete a set workload identified in the curriculum.
6. Responsibilities
6.1. Interns are expected to abide by all company policies and procedures during their tenure. 6.2. General Practice Training and Consulting reserves the right to terminate the internship if there is any inappropriate behaviour on the part of the intern.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. Any work produced or developed during the internship may be published at General Practice Training and Consulting or affiliated sites.
7.2. Interns are entitled to be named as authors of the works they contribute to.
7.3. General Practice Training and Consulting owns the rights to the works produced during the internship.
7.4. Interns are entitled to have a link from their name in the published works to their own website or social media profile.
8. Termination
8.1. General Practice Training and Consulting reserves the right to terminate the internship at any time without prior notice.
8.2. Interns may also terminate their participation in the program by discontinuing their work experience.
9. Liability
9.1. General Practice Training and Consulting shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred by interns during the program.
9.2. Interns participate in the program at their own risk.
10. Confidentiality
10.1. Interns must maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information disclosed during the program.
10.2. Any breach of confidentiality may result in immediate termination of the internship.
11. Feedback and Evaluation
11.1. Interns may receive feedback and evaluations on their performance throughout the program.
11.2. Feedback provided by General Practice Training and Consulting should be used for professional development purposes.
12. Amendments
12.1. General Practice Training and Consulting reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
12.2. Any changes will be communicated to interns in writing.
