To find your IHI number?

To find your IHI number:

1. Log in to your myGov account or create one.
2. Click on ‘Linked services.’
3. If you linked Medicare, find ‘Individual Health Identifiers service.’
4. Click ‘Go to service’ or link it if not done.
5. In Medicare, select ‘My details – View and edit my details.’
6. Your IHI number is in your personal details.

An Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) is a unique number for healthcare.

It ensures accurate information for the right person during care.

You have an IHI if:

• You have a Medicare card.
• You have a DVA card.
• You’re enrolled in Medicare.

If not eligible for Medicare but have an IHI, update details with the Request an Individual Healthcare Identifier form.
